Terribly titled, but it's very interesting research. It was done in Canada, so I think it hit the news a few days earlier here.

This is really interesting and I totally believe it. I have Crohn's Disease and know that I have an imbalance in my gut bacteria that causes my symptoms. Part of my reasoning for wanting vaginal births and for breastfeeding my kids for so long, is because I want them to have all of the beneficial bacteria in their systems. It's also why I don't use antibiotics unless absolutely necessary.

I would love to see more research on this. I've read some stuff about people with imbalances getting fecal transplants to balance out the gut. I think that doctors and scientists are really on to something!
