Hello Ladies! This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community and is currently TTC again, either on their own, or via injectibles, IUI, IVF, adoption, etc.

TTC again, even after successfully bringing home a LO (or multiple LOs) is a stressful process for all of us, and this group is meant to allow us the opportunity to provide support and suggestions to one another, and to receive the same in return.

A check-in will be posted every Thursday. Please send me a PM or reply to the check-in post if you would like to be added to the group. The more the merrier! Let's get this board going again.

Each check-in will provide the opportunity for you to provide an update as to where you currently are in your TTC journey following SAIF and a response to the QOTW.

Update: positive OPK today, ironically on Valentines Day! Super excited. Good luck to any other ladies coming up to the 2ww.

QOTD: I love all the cliche Valentine's Day gifts. I'm all for flowers and chocolate! But I'm partial to See's Candy. Yum!

My luteal phase was 12 FREAKING DAYS LONG this cycle which is the longest it has ever been other than when I was pregnant. I was super pumped about that, but unfortunately I'm not preggo. I am feeling hopeful that the acu and herbs are helping though, so that's a plus!

Onto next month!

QOTD: I love flowers, chocolate, whatever but usually tell DH to skip it. I always tell him I'd rather have him put the money towards a nice night out together or a new purse or something

AF is now 4 days late! 2 HPT say BFN so......still waiting.

QOTW: I love flowers and DH is pretty good about getting them randomly not just on Valentines. I'm not a huge chocolate fan but I love some of the cheesy valentines box of chocolate. Only a few flavors but I will cut you if you take the vanilla or maple ones. DH went all out this year and bought me a trio of birthstone rings with his, mine and DS.

Update: I've been testing positive since 4dp6dt (10dpo) with increasingly dark lines. Beta #1 was 1563 on Monday (18dpo) and Beta #2 was 3874 (20dpo) yesterday. I'd say I'm pregnant for now! First u/s is 2/20. I should be 6 weeks then, so I'm hoping to see a heartbeat. I feel like my betas are so high (more than double what they were with my DD on the same dpo), but the nurse said it looked great. EDD is tentatively 10/17

QOTD: considering we had a huge fight on the way out the door to work this morning, probably none of the above, ha!!

Congrats!!! My betas were higher the second pregnancy too.

Update: resting on the couch after FET this morning. Embryo looked fantastic. It stuck to the side of the catheter, so they had to redo the transfer which of course stressed me out, by the RE said it was fine. I guess its an extra sticky one. Beta is 2/24, but since its a Sunday I may end up going in on 2/25 instead depending on DH's work schedule.

QOTW: I got flowers this year, but either is good.

Not much new to report here, on month 3 of bcp.

My husband is traveling for work today and we won't be celebrating much. However, he has been sending me roses on Valentine's day for 11 years. It's getting kind of late here for a delivery. For his sake, I hope they get here soon.

Update: After two unsuccessful attempts to get my blood drawn at some rinky dink independent lab for my MaterniT21 test (closed Monday for Lundi Gras, then yesterday they didn't have a phlebotomist), I finally got my blood drawn today. Looking forward to getting my results back right before my 40th birthday on March 3rd. I'm hoping to wait until then to find out the sex, but might cave.

Update: Not much to report. My next OB appointment is on 2/21, then another growth scan and my 28 week labs on 3/5. It certainly feels like the babies are growing well in there, so hopefully that is the case.

QOTW: 99% of the time, I am a sucker for flowers. DH sometimes gets them for me out of the blue, which is always a nice surprise. I told him he was off the hook for flowers this year because my mom brought me some gorgeous red roses over the weekend that still look lovely. I will, however, be expecting chocolate. Apparently the babies REALLY need it ;-)

Thank you sweetie. I definitely feel...like I have two little people growing inside of me, that's for sure. I am keeping everything crossed that your testing on Monday goes well and your new RE come up with the plan that will bring you your BFP!!

Update: Next MFM appt is Thursday 2/21 and my next growth scan and fetal echo are both on 3/1. I'm hoping my placenta has moved up and I'll be off of pelvic rest. I'm feeling huge compared to my last pregnancy. I'm 21w and I'm as big as I was at 28 weeks with DS. So I'm curious to see how I'm measuring!

QOTW: I normally like chocolates and flowers. I don't count on them every year though. DH always does something cute but he changes it up from year to year. Stupid GD kept me from the chocolate this year!

No update. Still on lupron. Will start delestrogen on Monday after my first u/s and bw, which will hopefully come back good so that I can start!

It's so great to see some exciting updates on here! We are still trying on our own. I feel so defeated that we don't be able to pursue treatments for awhile.

I have a love/hate with chocolates. I love them but hate that I eat the whole box!! ;

I have my first appointment today to move us towards our IUI. I am nervous to start the whole process again, but once we get going, it will be great!

Update: Made some progress with DH suddenly last night when all seemed lost the night before. He said "Maybe I have to get to used the idea". So if all continues to go forward I will start IVF/ICSI #3 with AF at the end of March no BCP this time and MDLF protocol.

QOTW: Neither I like things that last forever and also creating memories.

Update: IVF Egg retrieval happened on Valentines Day (19 eggs) waiting for fertilization report now. Transfer is scheculed for Sunday.

Edit to update: RE nurse just called. Of 19 eggs retrieved, 15 were mature and 10 fertilized with ICSI. Day 3 transfer scheduled for Sunday.

QQ: Flowers! DH bought me 18 long stemmed red roses right after I got out of the hospital.

I'm feeling pretty sad about TTC again. Still no cycle and I feel like I'm throwing darts in the dark. I know nothing is there, but it sucks to have to TTC on my own for a year before my insurance will pick back up and help me with the IF process again. Ugh.

QOTD: Chocolate covered strawberries. Yeah, I think he loves me. I'll keep him around another day.

Update: ultrasound yesterday revealed two sacs, two heartbeats... So we have twins growing in there.
