Skunks. Seriously. The only skunk on Oahu is at the zoo.

If you guessed skunk, you're correct. I didn't see it, but my entire house smells. Ugh.
I'm hoping it's warm enough to open the windows in the morning in case it still smells.

Agree with Kimbus, keep the windows closed!!!
We have a very high skunk population around here, and have had several nasty run ins. And when I say nasty, I mean nasty like rabid skunks killing pets. You do not want to let additional smell inside if you can keep it out where it will dissipate. Once the smell is gone, then air out the house. Good luck, that smell is awful!Fresh air! I'm guessing it must have been in the neighbor's yard because I don't smell anything this morning.
I knew someone who had a skunk give birth under her house, so there was a nest under the house, and skunks coming and going. It took forever for them to get the skunks out and longer for the smell.
Hooray! Skunk smell is the worst - glad it's all gone
