Update to my dr appt...

I just wanted to update one last time. I had my oncology appt today for the thyroid cancer. Let me tell you, that is the hardest appt to wait for. Anyway. We got GREAT news! I have a stage 1 carcinoma. No further treatment is needed at the moment since it is believed that it was all removed when my thyroid was 9 days ago. I have a follow up appt in a year and yearly after hat for life. Excellent prognosis, praise God! Thank you so much for you prayers and support.

And no radiation right? Because I've heard that's awful!
no radiation! Yay! He felt that with the kids it would be difficult and right now isn't needed. He also said in younger people the radiation can cause cancer in their 40's or 50's so the risk wasn't worth it. Right now I don't need it.
