On lunch at the moment. Dreading 5:00am. The last 3 nights I've worked I have had the hardest time staying awake after 5:00. Dang baby parasite taking all my energy! Lol I'm mobile so I can't do GIFs either, even if I knew how, which I don't. We need to make up some posts so MMH has new ones when she comes to work in the morning!

Anyways... How's your butt? Still drainage free?

That's so awesome that you can just do whatever you want! Definitely nice! Do you work 5 days a week?

I work in the Neurology Unit, mostly in the ICU step down. It's not too bad, the patients are fine for the most part but the scheduling sucks balls!! I've been getting the crap of the crap schedule since I got off orientation in December and I'm about sick of it! I want my life back!!

Well I'm getting to fill in all the "holes" in the schedule since I started since they didn't have a schedule for me. Which means I've been scheduled to work almost every weekend unless I switch with someone to get off. Then the scheduler lady presents me with a set schedule that is working every weekend. I don't mind doing weekends just not every.single.one. My family lives 6 hours away and I'd like to see them sometimes! I haven't been back home since Thanksgiving!

Right now? I'm failing. I am head bobbing so hard. I have charting to finish but every time I chart I'm dozing off. So I do something else to keep me awake and then don't get to chart. Ugh. But tonight is my last night!! I can't wait!

Do you have trouble staying awake?

That's funny that after 12 years they don't even know your DH exists. Sad, but really funny.

I know what you mean about the weekends. I worked weekend nights when we were in KY and I loved it!! I made crazy good money and loved the people I worked with and never had to lay eyes on any administration! Perfect! But it doesn't work with our life now, here in GA so I feel like I've sold my soul to my hospital and work constantly, when in reality it's only 3 days a week.

My gut feeling is that this one's a boy, but I may just think that because I really want a boy! Lol Guess we'll find out in another 810 weeks!

This made me laugh. Fun tidbit for ya: there's no such thing as 24-hour walmart's around here (as in, in this province - not sure about the rest of the country)

I hear ya. I try to do my grocery shopping over lunch whenever I can for that very reason.
