Am I in the wrong?

So BD wants DD but he has no license or a carseat, so I refuse to let him pick DD up. So he wants me or my mother to drop DD off, but were both sick of helping him out and being his slave bascially. He claims he wants to see her but he makes no effort. I need opinions.

    You are right, everyone concern about their kids. That is so wrong for him to do that, he could have asked his parents or close friends to give him a drive to pick up your daughter. Or maybe he could go get the license already. I would do the same thing as you doing right now.

    Some people want other people to do things for them and will make the situation to seem they are helpless....SO if you dont think he makes an effort then tell him Im not helping you anymore b/c of these reasons. If he really wants to see the baby he would make an effort like someone else mentioned he could ask his friends for rides etc. If a person wants to see their child they will make it happen. You could meet him 1/2way (not all the time) he can take a cab to meet you. Theres always options.. He could take a bus somewhere to meet you.

    Dont let him take advantage but give him a chance if you see him making changes or an effort.

    But you are posting on a single moms board ;) we all have your back!

    I completely agree with you. If he wants to spend time with his child, he will make the effort to do it the correct, legal way. No getting other people to do his work for him, that doesn't fly in my book!
