Sick sick sick

Who else round here is sick? I went to see my midwife today worried I might have more than a bad chest cold since I can't breathe much, and they ended sending me to the ER. I guess I have a nasty respiratory infection and have to be on prednisone. Yuck. 

 All other sick mamas out there - I hope you feel better soon!

    I think I am working on it.  DH has been sick, and just about everyone at work.  I was surprised I didn't have it yet.. and then today I woke up with the beginnings of a sore throat and "that" headache you get when you know you're about to get sick.  I've been unusually tired all day.  I am fully prepared to feel like crap tomorrow.  At least it's my day off!

    I have an OB appt on Friday, so I'm gonna stick it out until then.  I just hope it doesn't get too bad!  We have a fun/elective 3d/4d ultrasound scheduled for Friday evening and I REALLY don't want to have to reschedule it!

    after weeks of taking care of the bf when he was sick i finally caught his nasty cold "/ hot water, lemon, and honey always helps.

    i hope you feel better!

    Hope I don't get sick..

    Co-worker was just out for a week because one of her kids had the flu and the other child of hers had MRSA. Then she came back to work for like 3 days and then her other son had the flu and was out for 5 days and then she had the flu.

    I also work in a retail pharmacy..

    I'm getting over the stomach bug.  It's so horrible having this bug alone but even worse while pregnant.  Hope everyone feels better soon!

    Yup, I finally caught the cold going around but have been being mindful to take it as easy as I can, rest when I can, drink plenty of fluids, etc.  Because back in November/December I didn't and my cold turned into pneumonia.  I definitely don't want that again!

    I almost passed out in my childbirth class last night because I was trying to do the breathing exercises and ended up hyperventilating because my nose was so stuffed... I better not be sick when I actually have the baby...
