That hurt! Colposcopy with biopsies

I just got home from the colposcopy and it hurt a bit more than I expected. I guess I should have expected it though when they are clipping off pieces of tissue.
My doc told me that my pap came back as what he would call a 9 on a scale of one to ten, ten being the worst. Way to put me at ease. But then, when he was actually looking at my cervix he said he could see two lesions but neither looked all that bad. He took tissue samples that will be biopsied and he also scraped a bunch of cells from inside my cervix (ouch) and those will be tested too in case it's in there where he wouldn't be able to see.
I should get the results in 3-5 days but he said he definitely thinks I'll need a Leep which is where they basically burn the bad cells away.

Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.

The heating pad is your friend. And whatever you do, don't go to the ballet like the day after your procedure... Very uncomfortable sitting there for a super long time. It's funny I remember this so clearly when I had it done way back in 2004.

Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
