problems with poly-v-sol vitamins?

At DD's 12-month appointment her hemoglobin levels were a bit low, so her pedi suggested we try poly-vi-sol vitamins.  I've spent the last 3 months trying to figure out a way to give it to her so that she doesn't throw up.  I think it's the smell and taste that she doesn't like and ends up throwing up everything when she takes it.  I've tried doing it before she eats, after, mixing into her sippy, but no matter what she ends up throwing up her entire meal.  I'm not sure what else to do.  Has anyone else had issues like this?

Tell your pedi. I think we can give a chewable now.

I would def call your dr.
My guy takes it out of the dropper or in his juice. But the poly with iron directly from the dropper has been staining his teeth. So I am trying it in his juice now to see if it will stop the staining.

You could check with the pediatrician and see if there is a solutab or chewable option.  DD has never don poly-vi-sol, but she does vomit when we give her any other liquid medication that isn't her prevacid.
