We all have guilty pleasures, right? Mine is super super guilty. Keep in mind it's a name I would never ever ever use, just one I like the sound of if it wasn't made up and so trashy.... Here goes....
Nevaeh. There I said it, if I ignore where it comes from and just listen to the flow I think it's pretty. But unfortunately I can't do the former for long!

I don't have particular name confessions. In general, I love unisex names for girls and I hate "old lady" names for girls.
For boys I always love strong, classic names.
I do really love Harper, which is the IT celebrity name now, but we never considered it because our last name starts with H and has the letter P in the middle, so it was very repetitive to put it together.
It's such a beautiful, offbeat name I LOVE it. I didn't realize it was from Twilight until I saw it mentioned here a few months ago.

I have pretty normal tastes in names, in general. I love Hollis for a girl, that seems to be out there for most people. I also think Kennedy for a girl is sort of pretty...
Guilty pleasure boy name is Canaan. Again DH would never let me use it so its my dog's name. There seems to be a trend here huh!?! Any name that I love and DH hates he says I can name a dog that...he owes me like 5 dogs so far!

I honestly believe it will be a passing trend. Or, at the very least, only the main characters' names will be recognized. It wa a risk we knew we were taking when we named her and we are glad we did!

Avery- For a girl. The sounds to me are so pretty but I cannot reconcile the name's popularity or that it's traditionally a boy's name.
Persephone- a pretty, unique, mythological name however the meaning (bringing death) rules it out for me.
Leonardo or Maximilian - these names just wouldn't go with our typical English ln
Boy---- Lyle
Girl---- Piper (our last name starts with a P though...)

I think it sounds like Nivea, as in the lotion. So even the sound of it irritates me.

Oh how I adore Gemma! I have been pushing Gemma this time around with DH but I was dumb when j was 8 and named my cat that who turned out to be an evil, rotten, hiss bag so DH can't get past that even though he likes the name.

I fall for ridiculous "y"s every. time. Kill me now, but every time I see a tiny baby with a cute little "y" tucked in their name, I light up like the 4th of July.
My little nephew does this to me, he's my world (until I can hold my LO outside) and his mama gave him the gem "My.les". Ooooh, that "y"!!
I'm super trying not to do that to my child, as I would like for them not to hate me when filling out applications or turning in resumes.
Girl: Jubilee.
I love it because it's biblical (not as a name but it's the name of a year, a huge celebratory year) AND it's an X-man. And I'm a nerd like that.
