I've got a picture and a video this week.
The picture is from food shopping this weekend. Normally LBB "helps" by taking the food I hand him and putting it in the cart. This weekend however he decided that instead of putting the cheese in the back, he was going to gnaw on it all through the store. And scream like a maniac if I tried to open it and give him some. He only wanted to eat it through the plastic.
And the video is his "OH yeah." He's been really into sunglasses lately, always wanting to put them on his face, so we've been trying to teach him to put them on and say "Ohhhh yeah." His version is "Ohhhh waaaa." I tried to catch it on film, but he only did it once while I was taping, and it's in the very beginning.

Instagram - you know, the company that is claiming proprietary rights on every photo you post on there? I wouldn't use it.

Blu - DD tries to eat everything through the plastic at the supermarket too. Mostly the produce. When I won't give it her or take it away, she screams bloody murder.

Really, anyone can get any picture they want off the Internet if they choose too. Any picture, whether it is posted to FB, MySpace, a message board, a blog, etc.....anyone can take it and use it with a simple right click and "copy". I feel like no matter what the social media site is, if you are posting to it, you are taking the risk that the picture could be used by a friend/family member, a stranger, or a company.
Elsa - I'm not sure you understand what proprietary rights are.
Instagram is/was selling pictures people have posted on their site. Instagram claims they would never do that, even though their terms of service allow them to. But there are lawsuits currently being pursued by people who found pictures they'd taken being used in advertisements without their permission. In general, if someone clicks and copies your picture, they are appropriating your property - this is true for friends/strangers/or a company. If they are making a profit off of it, they can be sued. Heck, even if they're not making a profit off of it, they can be sued to remove the picture.
HOWEVER, Instagram's terms of service (which most people don't bother to read) gives them permission to do this. When you "sign" it (accept it) you're saying "Hey Instagram - these pictures are now yours to do whatever you want with." So when you post a picture of your daughter, Instagram has the right to sell it to say, a post partum depression medication without even notifying you. And then they get the profits and you can't do anything to get the medication company to stop using the picture.
