does LO looooove dogs?

My friend posted this link of FB:

I'd never heard of it, but it seems like a really good idea. I thought I'd pass it on. DS sometimes goes crazy with delight when he  sees dogs in public. We're cautious anyway, but it would be nice if everyone with a skittish dog did this so I'd know to keep him far enough away that his over-excitement wouldn't freak the dog out.

    This is really cool, I would love if this catches on! 

    We have a dog that we take to a lot of places (parks, hiking, beach, etc), and it can be really tough when there kids that want to run up and interact with him.  He is AWESOME with kids, but when when little ones (who don't know any better) charge at him screaming, he naturally gets excitable.  I like the idea of a sign that lets people know to approach with caution.
