I can pay the board fee, can I join?

I saw below that there is a board fee :

Oh, there is a bit of an entry fee for this board. You must tell us how many pairs of jellies, swatch watches and acid wash jeans you've owned in your lifetime. And who is hotter... Jon BonJovi or Simon LeBon. If you have to google this stuff, this ain't the board for you! HA

I can pay this fee.  I owned both jelly bracelets and shoes.  I didn't own any acid washed jeans, but the jeans I owned were either pegged or so tight they had zippers at the ankles.  I preferred my acid wash in skirts.  The shorter the better.  Usually worn with ankle socks and sweatshirts with turtlenecks underneath.  And I didn't think either of those was the bomb.  I was a George Micheal girl.  Faith still makes me dance and I have Make it Big on cassette.

    I missed Bride Buddies OP but this just made me crack up! I forgot about jellies. I never owned the shoes but I did have a couple of bracelets. I would also vote for Jon Bon Jovi.

    Cute post :-)  My jelly shoes were purple and playing "Chinese jump rope" was the playground activity of choice.  I too know how to peg a pant & and I owned a pair of jeans with zippers at the ankles. 

    The term I remember with jeans was "frosted jeans" (more so than acid washed) :-)  I think everybody liked George Michael but I had a serious school girl crush on El Debarge from the group "Debarge" singing "Feel the beat of the rhythm of the night" :-)

    And is it wrong I am reading all of these things like jelly shoes and pegged jeans while Bon Jovi's You Give Love (A Bad Name) is playing on the radio?
