HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!! Pool Water

Okay, I just had a 'you're an idiot' moment while we were at swimming lessons tonight ... and maybe this is a ridiculous question, but .... 

DH and I each take a kid for a parent child class.  The class is taught in the therapy pool.  The water is 90 degrees.  My husband has MFI and we all know the rule - no hot tubs, etc etc.  Do you think pool water at 90 would qualify as a no no?!  Or do you think that because it's about 8 degrees cooler than body temp that it would be okay?    

Good thing we've been doing lessons with the kids for MONTHS before I even realized this!

    A hot tub is usually between 100-105 degrees, so would warm the little swimmers (ehem) above body temp.  Doesn't sound like the pool is hot enough to be a problem.  It's amazing all of the things we have to think/worry about with IF that would never even occur to other people!

    RIGHT?!  Seriously.  I mean, obviously I knew the water was warmer than the big pool, but I can't believe it didn't occur to me that this could be bad for the swimmers!  

    I understand a hot tub is way worse, but .... CRAP!  Hopefully 90 isn't too bad.

    Elf's theory makes sense to me. Since its below body temp I would think it's fine. But you can always call your RE to confirm.

    IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
    IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
    beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
    beta #2 11/28 = 2055
    Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
    Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!

    I think your DH is fine but if I was you, I would call your RE office just to confirm & put your mind at ease.

    He should be fine as it is below body temp. Just make sure you all exit after lessons and don't hang out a ton longer to play.

    Honestly, I would be more concerned about him doing something like tight workout shorts.

    Baby girl J arrived two weeks early! Born into water, med-free. Hooray for Team Pink!

    TTC #2 - back to the RE, treatment started 12/2014.

    So I have to ask (sorry if I am being nosy) - how long did your LP end up being?
    IF DX: DOR & Fragile X pre-mutation carrier
    2011: FSH 13.3 & E 99; AMH 0.54 2nd FSH 6.2 E 40's AFC: 8
    BFP from Clomid/IUI ~ Pre-e and IUGR during pregnancy ~ DS born 9/4/12
    Feb./March 2013: AMH less than 0.16 (undectable) and AFC = 4;
    BFP from supps ~ DS#2 due May 2014

    May 2014 January Siggy Challenge:

    Okay, so I sent a message to the RE's office about it ... lol, I'm sure they are rolling their eyes reading that message!  I am fully aware of how ridiculous I am.  I can't wait for the response.

    My acupuncturist said that it should be okay, but she wouldn't want him to be in water any warmer than that.   

     Iback - 12 FULL days!  I got my period on day 13 in the am!  I'll take it!

    That is awesome!  Sounds like the herbs, supps and accu are helping!
