I couldn't care less about brands, honestly. Most of his stuff is Carter's but that's because I bought Macy's out a few weeks ago and nothing else fits. He wore his baby's first new year's shirt yesterday because it still fit.
My DS wears all brands. I don't care what brand and alot of the time don't go for the most expensive unless its on sale. Chances are LO will only wear the outfit for 2 weeks and it won't fit. Why spends lots of money??
I'm not picky either...the only thing I try to keep in mind is which brands run small (like Gerber) or shrink up to nothing (like Disney) lol
I've learned these lessons the hard way and so I remember that when shopping. I do like Carter because they seem to be more accurate with the sizes in my opinion. But I love me some sales---no matter what the brand is!!! Onesies for a buck? I'll take em!! lol
I am actually picky with brands because I am funny about how stuff looks. Consignment shopping saves soooooo much money bc they sell good quality clothes for cheap even brand name are great deals. I have a little girl so buying clothes is a madhouse. Lol.
Theres certain brands I love, and I generally shop those ones. I really like Carters for Pajamas, you can't beat the quality or the price, especially on footed winter pjs. For everyday I love miniboden, Tea collection and gymboree!

DD has been gifted most of her clothes from friends and family and for the most part it has all been Carter's and Old Navy. Both have really stood up to months of use because even though DD is 9 months she is a slow grower. She wore NB and 0-3 month clothes until 4-5months and right now can still fit into about 70% of her 3-6month and 6month size clothing..
All the clothes/outerwear that I have purchased for DD have been from consignment stores where I dont concern myself with brand just the condition and quality of the piece.
Gap!! I LOVE their baby clothing.... I try and wait for it to go on sale though. Their current "Peter Rabbit" collection is adorable.
Also Janie and Jack for cute dresses

Janie and Jack has some GREAT stuff. The best is when they have stuff waaay discounted on sale.
Whatever fits. I haven't bought any clothing yet he's still wearing what was given at showers. He's a little fellow though so that helps. When I do start buying, the brand won't make a difference. When he starts school that may change but for now I don't care as long as it fits.
We definitely have a lot of carters stuff at our house - even for my toddler. But so far we have been really lucky and haven't had to buy much of anything for either of our boys. We've gotten lots of gifts and hand-me-downs.
My mom's cousin is a crazy lady who buys super expensive stuff for her son (like Juicy Couture, Gucci, etc) and she recently sent me a buch of those hand-me-downs in size 5 and 6. So my toddler is going to be one stylish kid in a couple of years!

Nice! The thing I like about Carter's is that they have good quality stuff for reasonable prices. I am guilty tho of buying juicy couture and ralph lauren and what not. I usually will get them way discounted from TJ Maxx or consignment stores.

This. I'm a bit of a snob, but still on a budget. I hit consignment, then go for the sale racks. I'm obsessed with Gymboree and their Gymbucks. I also like Gap, Janie and Jack, Tea, Mini Boden, Old Navy for jeans.
I like Little Me over Carters. And I use their Carters/Target stuff mostly for daycare.

I'm not picky about brands, but I AM picky about what's on the clothes. I don't like clothes with a lot of words (ie- Mommy's princess, etc). I will bend on the no words rule with pj's cause who really cares what the baby sleeps in as long as she's warm and cozy. I also won't put anything on her with Disney or any other 'character'. When she's older and picks it out herself, fine, but not now.
I try to buy as much as I can at out local used baby stores, cause you can get great deals. I hate paying full price now that I discovered all the cute bargains.
