Intro from Gestational Carrier

Just happened to see the board on the left and thought I'd check it out.  I'm 28, married for 8 years, mom to 3 boys.  I'm 26w pg with a singleton for my wonderful IP's through an agency.  We transferred 2 5-day embies and 1 boy stuck.  My IP's aren't local unfortunately.  I started looking into surrogacy in January 2011, there have been several matches and potential matches to get me to this point, but I do feel that everything happens for a reason and my IP's and I were meant to match together.  This is their first child.  I'm hoping for a VBAC and crazy as it may seem, I'm already thinking about doing it again (hoping around 1 year after birth to transfer again).

How many other carriers are here? Anyone here using a carrier?

    Hi! So nice of you to post here :) I'm carrying a DE/DS baby of my own, but I did just want to say it's great to have you here and that what you're doing makes me tear up a little (pregnancy hormones anyone :)) - Itt is just so beautiful and lovely of you to help your IPs!. And, I know that if I want to have a second, i will be at least 43 when i deliver, and if I have trouble I will use a GC as we (ideally) do not want an only child but were too fearful of twins this first time around! FX for your VBAC - I know many women who have done it, and I hope it works out for you! Thanks for being a part of our community here!

    Dec. '12 - Donor Egg/Donor Sperm IVF Cycle - 4 good embies!
    Dec. '12 - Fresh transfer, BFP! EDD 8/29/13
    Mar. '13 - Missed m/c at 16w1d, baby boy stopped growing at 15w4d
    Loss due to umbilical cord clot...baby was perfect. :(
    Jul '13 - FET#1 - c/p
    Sept. '13 - FET#2 - BFN
    Dec.' 2, 2013 - FET#3 with our last chance embie - BFP!!!
    Dec' 26, 2013 - hb!!
    EDD 8/20/14 with a baby girl!
    Little S was born on 8/21/14 - 8lb, 14 oz and 20 inches long.
    We live in Seattle and used SRM for our donor egg IVF cycle

    My SIL is our GC! 15 weeks along, she is absolutely an angel and god sent! She is 41 and my hub and I are 40! We were blessed to have a successfull retrieval fertilization and our embryos were transferred in November. She is giving us a miracle!
