So my appt was two weeks ago and my next is the first week in March, I know this is standard procedure. However I can't help but just worrying about little bean being ok. I understand that symptoms come and go throughout pregnancy. I just think it sucks that we have nothing to go off but faith until we can feel the baby move!! wishing I had a see through pocket just to check in and make sure all is well

I don't think you'll ever feel 100% ok about the kiddo being ok - even when it's born! lol! I've heard of moms freaking out because their baby 'stopped kicking' when really, the baby was fine. In my opinion, this is just getting us ready for the worrying we'll do when they're out in the world and you can't protect them from everything. You have no reason to think your baby is not ok until you're told it's not. It sucks but unfortunately we don't have little pockets to check on them. You're not the only one going through this. Just have some faith!

I know the feeling. I have only had an education appt so far and I am not scheduled to have my first US appt until the 19th. It seems so far away and I can't wait. March does seem like a long time, have you had an US?

I think there will always be that sense of worry, especially in the first Tri. Just try to enjoy your pregnancy now and if something happens deal with it then.

This is my first and I was really worried too but you can't do anything about it and even if something is wrong, there's nothing you can do about it. maybe that's not good advice but something could happen even if you're getting checked on every week, you have to think about it like that. fyi that is normal, that's exactly the type of appointment set up i have... just look at it like, you'll be out of - or almost- your first trimester!

Yes! You worry throughout the pregnancy and then once the baby is here you have a whole new set of worries, it's never ending :

I am the same way. The further out I get from my last appt, the more I worry. It's crazy.

Isn't it funny how spoiled we are with technology? Just think, it really wasn't long ago there were NO ultrasounds and NO dopplers. Women somehow managed to just let pregnancy happen. I hope I'm not sounding condescending because I'm totally right there with you!!! Especially being pgal, I want some sort of verification all the time that things are fine. If I were rich....

I feel this way completely! My first ultrasound is tomorrow so I'm anxious all night tonight! Lol. Once I see the baby, I know I will calm down...some. Haha.

It's totally normal to be really worried...espically in the first trimester. having an US will help a bit.

but trust me you still worry after that too!

You'll never feel 100 about the baby and then once its born there comes a whole new set of worries. The waiting is hard. I go in two weeks from today and this feels like its taking longer than my first appt.

I was thinking the same thing. It's so natural to worry, but we really are lucky with today's technology.

Yeah, I thought I would be okay after having my first appointment and seeing the LO, but now I'm just worried until my appointment on the 28th. I feel like I'm going to worry the whole pregnancy or until the next ultrasound. I'm kind of happy I'm doing the 3D ultrasound at 15 weeks because it means I can see the baby again and make sure it's okay. The worry will never end.

I had an appt 3 weeks ago, and I go again next Thursday. These 3 weeks took forever, and I can only imagine how long the next week will feel. I can't wait until I can finally hear something on my doppler, my pgal anxiety is kicking my a$$.

totally agreed. last time we had a u/s at 6 and 10 wks. This time no u/s until 20 weeks, probably. So the first confirmation we have of the pregnancy will be a doppler reading at 11 weeks...if they don't find it then, not until 15 weeks! I can't believe I'll be going on so long before we really know anything! So we also can't tell anyone until then.
