1. About since August. I went off BC with the last pills in July.

2. BOTB because we dont have any kids yet, we arent charting but we arent preventing. We just decied that if it happens then it happens. So I would say that we have "babies on the brain."

1. how long have you been ttc? That's a hard one to answer. OFFICIALLY since we got married in May. so I guess 8 months.

Hi!, My name is afilesi and I'm a habitual lurker.

1. Not actually ttc yet. Got lucky on the honeymoon and then got really unlucky with that. SO I can't claim ttc just yet (but plan to actively as soon as the Dr. says "go").

I have been around here since June and post sporadically. Thought I should answer the questions.

1. how long have you been ttc? Not TTC yet. Charting for 3 months. Will begin TTC in 2009 sometime depending on my dissertation completion and defense. Procrastination and lack of interst in writing are winning at the moment.

2. why botb? as in the board. It suits me well when I have time. I feel the women here are most similar to who I would like to be around IRL. The variety of topics and general distain for stupidity/ignorance appeal to me.

3. do you believe in mythical creatures? I like mythical creatures if that counts. My favorite toys when I was little were my unicorn my little ponies. especially the one with purple hair. Magesty I think....so long ago.

4. what's your favorite adult beverage? Most any drink with hard liquor in it. I am a fan of punch made with mango rum, vodka, peach schnapps, and juices (just mix until it looks right, no measuring for me). I am a cheap date as I need only 1-2 punches to get tipsy.

5. do you know what an octodog is? I did not but I googled it. Octodog made my day. I think I need to send that as a gift to some people .

1. how long have you been ttc? Unfortunately, I am not TTC yet. DH is not ready.

2. why botb? as in the board. Well, DH told me to find some way to squash my TTC urges. So I figured, what is the best way to make them EVEN WORSE! Then, I was wandering around on the nest and came over here and died laughing at the snark and adored reading everything and eventually started posting.

3. do you believe in mythical creatures? Only the ones I see on this board. And the world of Harry Potter.

4. what's your favorite adult beverage? Oh I have so many. I love a good blended margarita. I am also a wine-o, and also enjoy Blue Moon beer, and many other beers. It will be hard when we start to TTC, I will admit that much!

5. do you know what an octodog is? I know that they are super fun, according to the website!
