Free case of formula for twins?

DH took the little guys for their 2 month appt (my poor boys little legs

) and the nurse asked did we get our free case of formula?? Apparently the distributors give these our to parents of multiples?! She gave us 4 cans of formula and said she will give us more when we get back in 2 weeks. She said she will also contact the company on our behalf to make sure we get it! Anyone else heard of this?

Yep, our rep sent us two cases of rtf seems to vary by rep. You'll also get a pack of extra coupons with them! Definitely helps the ol' pocket book!

We got two cases of enfamil enfacare 22 calorie delivered to our door, as well as a case for each baby when they were finally discharged.

Right! Is this through your OBGYN? I plan to BF but I know sometimes things don't work out as planned and often supplementing is needed.

An enfamil rep came to our MOMs meeting and gave us a form to fax to her to get ours. Maybe your OB can put you in touch with their rep? I never did it because we switched to the Sams club brand sensitivve which is waaaaay cheaper (even without coupons!) and comes in a giant container.

You can ask your pedi for the similac or Enfamil rep info. You have to send in a form for the cases delivered but sometimes they will give you one at the doc's office too.

Yes, got a great response from Enfamil, but not as good from Similac.

When we were discharged from the Nicu the nurses had us fill out a form and we got a case of formula for each triplet sent to our door. (You can also ask your pedi office to fill out the form or the formula reps contact info.).

When we left the nicu, the babies were on Enfacare. The nurses gave us a contact number and form with a code. We called the number, gave them the code, and they also sent us a case of Enfacare for each triplet.

Additionally, after these we got a standard letter from Enfamil saying congrats and we hope you received your free cases (I don't know which set they were talking about) and if you think you might qualify for more call this number. I called, and guess what?! They sent 3 more. I didn't have to give them any more info, so I think the "qualify" must have just meant call...haha.

Similac just sent 5 $3.00 coupons.

My triplets are just 7 months old, so this wasn't a long time ago either. Good luck, it's worth calling and digging around!

I called my OB's office and they said to go through my pedi's office.

I asked the pedis office about it and they'd never heard of the program. We lived in a very rural area at the time (West Virginia) and when the office manager tried to contact the Enfamil formula rep, he/she basically said they couldn't service our area because of our location ?!

So I just switched to the generic at Target/Walmart/CVS (all made by same lab),

Congrats on being able to get it! That's a huge blessing!

I had not heard of this! Another thing to consider is whether or not your prescription coverage will cover any of your formula. They did for us. A HUGE help.

Every time I go to the ped, I get a case...even when I take my daughter, they give me formula for the boys. I am friends with the nurse's kids, so maybe that's why I get so much?!

I actually called Similac yesterday (Abbott labs is the company I believe) and they said they don't have a specific program for multiples. They signed me up for their StrongMoms program and said they would send me 2 free things of formula and some $3 off coupons.

Not sure about Similac but when I called Enfamil the rep didn't know about a multiples program but I called my pediatrician's office, who was able to fax info into the rep for Enfamil and about 2 weeks later, 2 cases of Enfamil showed up on my doorstep. It had to go through our pedi to prove that we had twins. Super cool!

I got a form from our pedi, she filled it out and I mailed it all in. I got a letter back from Similac that said I had to fill out this new form and mail in a copy of their birth certificates. So when I did all of that jacking around I was mailed two boxes of the liquid formula, so 12 bottles. It was helpful and I really appreciated it, but to say it's a "Multiples Program" would be very misleading, I have never gotten another thing from them. I get maybe, and I mean MAYBE one or two of the 5.00 checks every 6 months. It's horrible.

I sent copies of my trips birth certs. to Enfamil and a rep called me, asked me a handful of questions, and had 3 cases of formula sent to our house- Awesome! (trips are almost 9 months so this wasnt that long ago- I know companies change policies all the time)

Yep I got 2 free cases of enfamil enfacare delivered to the door step! it was awesome. We got the coupon with the coupon code on it from the pedi office..
