3. Any appointments, tests or other updates this week? nothing this week
4. How is (are) your older child(ren) handling the idea of a new addition to the family? I don't think he really understands. I talk about the baby in my tummy, but I don't think he gets it.
5. Any suggestions for future questions? I stink at asking questions, so no.
I've been lurking since about December and have found this board very helpful. I'm due July 13, 2013 and have 2 out of 4 of my practice's Dr's approvals for TOLAC. Fingers crossed I get approval from all 4!
1. How far along are you? 18 wks
2. How are you feeling? Baby-related: wonderful. I've had strep throat and a fever for almost a whole week now though, a little worried about all the meds the baby is being exposed to that the Dr's have me taking to help get rid of it
3. Any appointments, tests or other updates this week? Check up on Wednesday where I was told we will also schedule the date for the A/S! So excited!
4. How is (are) your older child(ren) handling the idea of a new addition to the family? My DD is almost 20 months so still too young to understand what's going to happen. However, if you ask her were baby is she lifts up momma's shirt, points, and says "baby?"
1. How far along are you? 36 weeks
2. How are you feeling? A little pressure and a bit of heartburn, but nothing too bad.
3. Any appointments, tests or other updates this week? US and 36 wk appt Thursday
4. How is (are) your older child(ren) handling the idea of a new addition to the family? 18 month DS talks about the baby but I don't think he gets it.
5. Any suggestions for future questions?

1. How far along are you? 6 weeks
2. How are you feeling? Hungry 24/7
3. Any appointments, tests or other updates this week? OB appt this afternoon!
4. How is (are) your older child(ren) handling the idea of a new addition to the family? They don't really get it. They keep saying they want a baby sister...but I really don't think they have any conception of what is going on
5. Any suggestions for future questions? maybe stories from first delivery? Or why a VBAC?

Sorry I'm late. I work a long day on Mondays
1. How far along are you? 8 weeks
2. How are you feeling? Nauseated. I'm in this kick where I throw up stomach acid every morning. Ugh. It's just such a bad start to my day. I'm also very tired. I was so spoiled my last pregnancy, I didn't really have any of this.
3. Any appointments, tests or other updates this week? I went for my first appt last Friday. They did an ultrasound and I met one of the midwives. It was more just a meet and greet, but I was able ask her a little about their VBAC protocols. She said I can have wireless monitoring and even labor in the tub if I want. That was such a huge relief for me. The idea of having to do another labor in bed terrifies me.

M isn't old enough to understand. I think the dog knows, but he hasn't said anything about it.
5. Any suggestions for future questions? I think stories of past delivery would be nice. Birth plans would helpful.
2. How are you feeling? Great now that I'm out of the 1st tri
3. Any appointments, tests or other updates this week? 16 week appt on Friday
4. How is (are) your older child(ren) handling the idea of a new addition to the family? We haven't told the boys yet...planning to wait until the a/s in 3 weeks, but since I need to bring them with me to my appt on Friday, DS1 might figure it out (though I think they have an inkling anyway)
5. Any suggestions for future questions? Previous deliveries (vag, c-section, tolac resulting in.., etc.)
1. How far along are you? About 27 weeks.
2. How are you feeling? Bleh. Good days and bad days. Although the bad days are starting to take over!
3. Any appointments, tests or other updates this week? Nope. Next week a few..

5. Any suggestions for future questions? I agree with the past delivery stuff. Plans for the weekend? What still needs to be done before baby comes? Family support on VBAC decision? I will keep thinking!
1. How far along are you? 28 weeks
2. How are you feeling? Pretty good, this pregnancy has actually been easier on me than the last.
3. Any appointments, tests or other updates this week? I had my 28 week checkup last Friday and the baby is transverse (first c-section was due to breech) so I'm paranoid about baby's position now.
4. How is (are) your older child(ren) handling the idea of a new addition to the family? She's very excited at the concept, we'll see how she does with reality
1. How far along are you? 17w,4d
2. How are you feeling? Not too bad. Tired but otherwise pretty normal.
3. Any appointments, tests or other updates this week? I have a chiro appointment tomorrow, a MW appointment on Thursday and our anatomy scan next Tuesday.
4. How is (are) your older child(ren) handling the idea of a new addition to the family? Ro still seems pretty clueless. She has been telling me she has a baby in HER belly which I think is cute. But, it's definitely still very abstract to her.
5. Any suggestions for future questions? Team? I am no good at questions.
1. How far along are you? Almost 28 weeks
2. How are you feeling? Overall, I feel pretty good. I'm starting to get sore, and a bit more tired, but nothing too terrible to complain about.
3. Any appointments, tests or other updates this week? I have my 28 week appt on Friday, along with my 2nd 1 hr glucose test, and some other bloodowork.
4. How is (are) your older child(ren) handling the idea of a new addition to the family? They seem excited. We did some work on the nursery this weekend, and they love Danny's room. They talk about him and to him all the time. They kiss my belly. I'm looking forward to feeling more movement outside, so they can feel it, too.
1. How far along are you?almost 35-36 weeks, my date got changed, I think I'm somewhere in between..I'm glad for the extra week though. :-)
2. How are you feeling? Lots of heartburn now, I'm having to remind myself to eat smaller meals, but sometimes even that doesn't help.
3. Any appointments, tests or other updates this week? My DS1 was supposed to have a sibling class that my hospital offers but the teacher is sick...for myself, none.
4. How is (are) your older child(ren) handling the idea of a new addition to the family? He has no idea...we talk about baby brother a lot and what it will be like when he is here, but he isn't really going to understand until a baby comes home and takes most of his attention.
5. Any suggestions for future questions? Do you have to fight for your VBAC? Are you using a doula and if so why? Were you early or late with your first? Do you have a birth plan?
Hi Ladies, I would love to join you. I am thinking very positively and going to try my damnedest or a VBAC this time. This board helps me stay that way. Thanks!
1. How far along are you? Almost 23 Weeks
2. How are you feeling? Good, no complaints
3. Any appointments, tests or other updates this week? none
4. How is (are) your older child(ren) handling the idea of a new addition to the family? I am very certain that DD understands, she calls the baby "bunny" I kinda wish it would be that easy to birth - HA!
5. Any suggestions for future questions? drawing a blank
1. How far along are you? 34 weeks
2. How are you feeling? Pretty good. Ready to be done.
3. Any appointments, tests or other updates this week? Just had my appointment yesterday, not with my OB since he's in Hawaii. Nothing fancy. All is well. Doctor should request an ultrasound to double-check size soon and we'll discuss the plan once we have those results.
4. How is (are) your older child(ren) handling the idea of a new addition to the family? My youngest doesn't fully get it. My oldest talks about it constantly, but I don't think she gets it either. She was only 1 when her sister was born, so we'll see. Considering the kid looks terrified every time a baby crawls or walks toward her, it'll be interesting to see her reaction to her baby brother when he's actually here.
5. Any suggestions for future questions?
1. How far along are you? 23wk5d
2. How are you feeling? Pretty well considering DD2 was up sick most of the night and the night before I had terrible insomnia. I'm not sore or have sciatica like last week.
3. Any appointments, tests or other updates this week? Nope, I don't go in till Feb. 20.
4. How is (are) your older child(ren) handling the idea of a new addition to the family? DD1 is able to understand and felt Baby from the outside last night. It took her a couple weeks to get over her disappointment of another baby sister. She was certain this LO was a boy. DD2 has a vague understanding.
5. Any suggestions for future questions? Nothing that PP haven't already suggested.

I'm 35 weeks.
Exausted and having trouble walking due to SPD.
I have NSTs 2x week for high blood pressure. Today my blood pressure was excellent. It really changes day to day. I have a Dr. appointment, NST and ultrasound scheduled for Friday.
My DD is 2 and is very excited. She tells me she wants her sister to come out...we'll see how she reacts when she's really here. I actually think she'll be a great big sis.
Yeah, she's even narrowed it down to only pointing to my belly button so I think she just considers the name of the belly button to be baby! haha I have a weird thing about people touching my belly button so I have to try and hold back from smacking her hand away (instinctively!) when she points/touches it too.
1. How far along are you? Almost 37wks
2. How are you feeling? Uncomfortable. Been having false labor for weeks. Otherwise good.
3. Any appointments, tests or other updates this week? Next appointment is the 18th, Dr suggested doing a membrane sweep at this time to see if we can get these contractions to do something more then just drive me crazy!
4. How is (are) your older child(ren) handling the idea of a new addition to the family? He's pretty excited, asks me every day if the baby is coming out yet, and the baby belly always gets the first kiss goodnight!

2. nauseous and crampy, which makes me cranky...
3. First appointment this Friday.

4. How is are your older children handling the idea of a new addition to the family? DS is 11 months old, so he has no idea!
5. Any suggestions for future questions? Some great ones have been suggested. I do love this check in. just reading everyone's posts here gets nee excited about the process!
