Trying to Get Pregnant

Digital ovulation kits

Hi ladies, this past month I tried using the digital ovulation kits. I started on day 12 and never got a positive for ovulation. My dr doesn't seem worried he thinks I may even be prego. Has anyone ever used them and they were not accurate? Or even had this happen to you??

Re: Digital ovulation kits

  • I started with a regular box of these (7 in the box I think). And didn't get a positive. Found out O was later than I thought. Finally did one month where I started after AF and tested my entire cycle. (I know that's longer than necessary but it helped me get an idea of what the tests looked like all the way through my cycle.)

I'm sure others will give you advice about temping and FF too. Neither really works for me, but many on here swear by them. Good luck!

  • I was testing in the morning at first but then starting morning and evening.  I agree he shouldn't have told me that, ade me feel even more crazy. This whole process makes me feel crazy sometimes lol.
  • I use them--interpreting lines wasn't for me.  I do them twice a day.  I start at day 9 or 10.  They are worth the $ and I've gotten postiives early in the am and with only holding my bladder for 3 hours.
  • I recently found out that I ovulate earlier than I thought I would (CD11).  I use the Clear Blue Digital OPK and they suggest starting on the 6th day (counting day 1 as the first day of your period).  Just a suggestion, but I'm still new to this so I could be wrong haha.  Good luck tho!!
