Maternity leave benefits

I filed a claim with the Employment Development department in my state on 12/14 and I still haven't gotten paid!  The worst part is my job is integrating my PTO and they will not do this until they get a copy of my first EDD check.  My job will integrate 40% of my vacation pay while the state pays 60%.  What do I do?!?  I've been to the EDD office twice.  Once to ask where to mail my medical form.  When I still didn't get paid three weeks after mailing the form, I faxed it.  That didn't work so I brought the hard copy form to the office in PERSON.  They told me it would be processed that day.  That was 5 business days ago and the status is "pending medical form" on the website.  Do I drag my baby to the office AGAIN?!?  I'm so annoyed.

    No personal experience, however here in California took a couple months before my friend saw any money.

    Ok.  I'm in CA.  So I guess the wait is the norm.  Bummer!

    CA is way behind! It took me 7 weeks to get paid and that was only because I went down to my local office. I recommend going back down there. There was also a long lag time between payments when I switched from disability over to bonding.
