Hiking Gear for Baby?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a great backpack to put baby in fornhiking?  Before baby, my husband and I did a lot of hiking in the White Mountains, and would LOVE to get back on the trail.  Obviously some of the more advanced hikes will have to be done without baby, but we'd love to take her with us some of the time.  Any recs for a great pack?

    She's 5 months now, but we wont take her until spring/summer, so 6-9 months at the beginning, but obviously we want room to grow.  We will be hiking in spring/summer, but the climate is relatively cool in the mountains, so anywhere from 60-75 degrees, I would imagine.

    My SIL has a kelty aluminum frame carrier that she really likes.  I think she used it with nephew #1 until he was like 3, and now she's still using it with #2 (he's 2.5 and not small).  She's pretty average size (maybe 5'5" and 140 lbs) and she says it is still comfortable.
