First Appointment (9wks 1d)

My first appointment is today at 1pm EST. I am nervous and excited. I did all the lab work yesterday when I went in so I got most of that out of the way. I have a pap today I believe and I filled out a whole health history when I went in for my fertility check up when we first go Clomid. So I'm wondering what exactly it's going to entail. I am hoping that an ultrasound would be there so I could see my babies and make sure that my twins are still growing and thriving inside. My anxiety has been up and I think it would really help to see them. Since my miscarriage last summer I have been feeling antsy.

    Hopefully since its twins you'll get an u/s at most appts!

    I always had anxiety prior to my early appts too. Seeing the babies always got me through to the next. Good luck today!

    TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!

    Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!

    I had an u/s at 8 weeks for a check. Found out we were having twins. Had an u/s at 10 weeks... well I'm not sure why But I enjoyed it all the same. OH... Dating! LOL oops. It wasn't schedualed. I had gone in to see the nurse and she was "shocked" that I hadn't had a dating scan. Um? Ok... Then again at 12 weeks for the NP scan. Today is my 20 and I'm having my 4 us. I know a lot of MoMs get u/s every visit. Hopefully your OB is fun like that. Mine is very old fashion and doesn't feel the need to check up on the babies this early with no complications.

    Yes, I hope my doctor is in a good mood. I would like to make sure that everything is ok. I had a scan at 7 weeks because I started to spot. It's been two weeks so I figure that he should give me one. I hope he doesn't make me wait another week. I want to know that those little babies are thriving in there.
