Update on Betahell

Just got the call...it's a 129!!!! This is insane. What do you guys think now?!?!!?

BETA 1: 6.1, (8dp5dt) spotting

BETA 2: 9, (9dp5dt) AF like bleeding and clots

BETA 3: 16,(12dp5dt) No bleeding

BETA 4: 21(14dp5dt) No bleeding

BETA 5: 129 (19dp5dt) Sporadic Spotting

I think this is really encouraging news!!! That's a 46 hour doubling time! Praying it keeps on rising!!!

Betas are soooooo weird !!!

129 is a great number to get from 21!!!!

Honestly, has your doc mentioned anything about a possible ectopic? I can't remember all the details from your original post but these are acting like my numbers when I had a suspected tubal. I would have expected a greater rise in 5 days. I know there have been success stories from slow starting betas. I have every positive vibe coming your way for some amazing news.

ETA: I take all that back. For some reason I miscalculated!!! That is a GREAT rise! Maybe it was just a slow starter!

He said ectopic pregnancy usually occur with beta's in the thousands. I go back on Friday. Does kpowers982 still post on here? Her story sounds so similar to her. She was 30 weeks in November, so I was just curious to chat with her!

Infertility. I tried to figure out a way to message her, but I don't think I can. Also tried adding her as a friend. Thanks for your help.

My ears are burning

my beta started at 13 and my p4 was 4.3. After 48 hours my HCG was only 14. It went up slowly (21, 96...etc). My OB told me more than once it was a likely miscarriage. An ultrasound at my MFM's office at 5 weeks showed an empty sac. A few days later I woke up to some bright red bleeding, and called to ask for them to do something to speed up the process; I was tired of hurting. But my beta had started doubling and was up to 4400, so they said they wouldn't treat without a confirmation ultrasound to make sure it was a missed m/c. I waited 10 more days (by this time it had been almost 5 weeks since my first positive test), and sure as all hell, there was a perfect baby with a HB of 150, measuring 6 weeks 7 days. I was measuring 11 days off of my LMP and my O date, but for the entire pregnancy she measured in track to how they estimated at that ultrasound. I truly don't have a clue how or why....but sometimes things can be wonky and doctors are not always right, and the improbable can happen sometimes! It's so damn hard to keep the faith when things look bleak. But hold on if you can...I am proof positive that you just never know what's going to happen. Good luck to you...I wish you all the best!
