So after my run in with MIL that wants K to be eating cheeseburgers tomorrow ok I exaggerate, I started researching starting solid foods. I always said I didn't want to start anything until at least 6 months, but I didn't have any support behind it. One website I came across is wholesomebabyfood.com. It gives the American academy of pediatric, the World health organization and the center for disease control recommendations. Plus it has recipes for making your own food. I ended up getting the book on my kindle. I highly recommend both. The website is loaded with great info. The book has more recipes if you're wanting to make your own food. When are you/did you introduce solids?

Re: Starting solids
'Til He returns, or calls me home,
Here in the power of Christ I stand.
This is me too......
Actually, I think we started DS closer to 5 months. Our appt. times got pushed back because we had a blizzard when he was due for his 2 month appt. So he didn't have his "2 month" appt. til almost 3 months, and his "4 month" appt. wasn't til almost 5 months. And I wasn't going to start solids without the pedi's blessing.
