  I used both. I prefer my breast friend. It provided me better back support, and I have chronic back pain. I also have a long torso and had a very tiny baby, and the my breast friend held him in a better position for nursing him much higher than the boppy. However, I couldn't fit the my breast friend in my glider because it was too wide. So I used the boppy in the glider. I didn't find the straps to cause any delay whatsoever. You can even strap it on before you pick baby up if you need to.

  I had both. I bated the mbf. I loved the boppy. My best friend had the boppy then I gave her my mbf and she loved it. I think it is a matter of personal preference.

  I had both, only because I'd ordered the MBF and it didn't arrive before DS did, so DH ran out and bought me a boppy. Once the MBF arrived I never touched the boppy again for bf'ing. The MBF I found firmer and more supportive, for both me and DS.

  MBF here.  I had both and the boppy didn't support LO enough.  I did use both--it was nice to have if LO spit on one or something, and could switch it out without having to change covers immediately (although I usually tried to use burp clothes instead.)  I know some folks used the boppy to set LO on but even that wasn't a big thing with me.

  I had the boppy and it worked but not awesome.  I'm fairly thin and there was always a gap between me & the pillow (like the pillow was too big to fit snugly around my waist) so I still ended up mostly holding DD to BF.

  But she hated the Bumbo chair, so this was a good support for her (with another small pillow) to practice sitting up.

  I think the brest friend is good when the baby is really small. It does provide good back support for the mom and straps around to make you feel like you have a nice support ledge.

  But the boppy really can do the job too. I didn't breast feed for too long, I started exclusively pumping early on but I have heard the boppy works better the bigger the baby gets.

  I have both and use them for different things.  I like the brestfriend for nursing in the middle of the night because it helped me to hold him up when I was so tired.  The boppy was easier for nursing in the living room and around people though. Plus, I used the boppy to prop him up.

  I love the My Brest Friend but I never used a Boppy.

  The MBF was great when we first brought him home and I was exhausted. it gave a lot of support and my arms were so tired from holding a sweat bar for hours during labor.
