There's no school again for us today, so I thought I'd share some snow pictures from the storm this weekend.
DD next to the snow mound outside our place
H and DD next to the snow mound (H is 6'3")
Putting her to work
DD on the sidewalk (look at how tall the snow is!)
Cars buried in the snow on the sides of the road (we live in the city)
Re: Snow Pictures! (PsIP)
Wow that's crazy! We had a storm a few years back with about 24". That's really uncommon here. It was a mess, but kind of fun at the same time.
We only got about 4" here. I was kind of bummed because DS was too sick to go out and see it. It's the first time we've had more than an inch since he was born. I bet your LO had a blast.
The second picture makes me laugh because it looks like YH used that one tiny shovel to make that gigantic snow mound. (he didn't, right? because that would be insane! lol)
I have a similar pic of L walking in between 2 piles of snow on our walkway.. they both remind me of that little kid in the Christmas Story... so bundled up that they can hardly walk haha
Did V like the snow? I tried to have L sit/stand in the snow for a picture by herself and she made it quite clear she was not happy .. so as long as someone was nearby or holding her she was fine.
I know - this blizzard has been detrimental to a lot of people - but I miss blizzards!
I miss seeing everyone in town at the supermarket and making plans for the next day.
I miss playing in the snow till your nose and fingers ache and then heading inside for hot chocolate.
I miss huddling around playing board games with my family when the power went out.
I do NOT miss shoveling the snow though!
Ha ha that would be great if H did that himself! It was actually our entire condo complex. Everyone was out there shoveling at the same time.
Viv liked walking around, but was not impressed when we put her on the snow bank. Our girls must be beach babes! :
Coming in for hot chocolate with tons of fluff was always my favorite part about winter! That and getting the "no school" phone call! ;0
Haha definitely beach babes! L was born in FL and we lived there until she was 3 months old.. she must remember the warm sunshine from December 2011 lol
