Non-beeping BBT themometer suggestions?

I wake up significantly before my husband for work.  In looking for a BBT themometer, a lot that I'm finding beep continuously.  I would hate to drive him crazy with that noise.  Anyone have a brand that doesn't beep a lot, or isn't super loud?

    I haven't heard of a thermometer like this but I've heard of some people wrapping their hand around the thermometer or getting under the blankets to help with the noise. You could try that.

    Oh my gosh, I was seriously about to ask this!!   Mine beeps when it starts and beeps again about 10 times when it finishes.  Super annoying.  It wakes up my dogs in the other room every morning at 6 am and then they want me to take them out.  Fat chance, dummies.

    I have a mabis and it only beeps once quickly when you turn it in and then when it's done a few times. When it's done I just quickly take it out of my mouth and press it into the pillow to muffle the noise. It works for the most part.

    Eta: it beeps, not verbs. Dammmm you autocorrect !

    I worried about the same thing - I wake up way before DH - but I think most thermometers are quiet enough that if they only beep once when you turn it on and then once or twice when your temp is ready, it probably won't wake him up. Have never had an issue with mine waking DH up (maybe he's just a really heavy sleeper - lucky!).

    I use a glass bbt because DH couldn't stand the beeping temping vaginally under the covers even. I actually really like it tho because I really trust the numbers because there is no potential battery error if it is going bad. And it gives me pretty nice charts.

    I use the digital BBT from earlypregnancytest.com.  It beeps once when you turn it on and three times when it is done.  I agree with Chancie about trying to muffle it with tape.  If it really bothers him try using a glass BBT as another poster suggested.  No beeping.
