Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Not sleeping at night anymore

DD was doing great, waking just about every 3-4 hours to nurse and then back t sleep.  For the past few days, she sleeps for about 3 hours and then is up the whole rest of the night eating.  Not sure if this is a growth spurt (she will be 4 weeks tomorrow) OR if she is unhappy with her flat bassinet, I put a wedge under the mattress. This did not help.

A friend of mine offered to lend me her RNP since we don't have one, but I am wondering if it's worth it.  Should I just let her sleep in her bouncer as that's on an incline too?  Or should I take the RNP and try that out?  I know some people swear by the RNP.

  • I'd try the RnP. DD loved sleeping in there when she was younger.

  • I ended up moving E to his crib around 2 months as he wasn't sleeping for long stretches in the PNP. He sleeps much better in his crib and I feel like he is a lot more comfortable when he sleeps.
  • She slept in the RNP last night from 11:30pm-4am, was up from 4am-6am between eating and pooping (she has a habit of pooping again right after I change her!) and then back to sleep from 6am-9am.  It was a glorious evening!!! LOVE THE RNP!!!!
