Yes, I know, Ava is popular. DH and I really love it, though, and we want to use it. I'm just stuck on a middle name. Last name starts with an N and ends in 'cross'. Any suggestions are appreciated!
ETA: I know it's a bit Duggar-ish for all three girls' names to start with A. That doesn't bother me either. lol
Re: Middle name for Ava?
Anything but Grace.
Ava Catherine
Ava Jane
Ava Margaret
Ava Elizabeth
Any family names you could pull inspiration from?
LOL at anything but Grace. I'm with you on that one! I just added Ava Catherine to the list. I really like it, but I have to present my list to DH first. lol DH vetoed Jane and Elizabeth is my middle name.
Family names are hard. DH and I both lost our grandmother's this past year and while it would be nice to honor them, we couldn't decide which to honor so opted not to do it at all. We considered Lianna to sort of honor our mothers (Lynn and Diana), but I don't know if I like it. =/
There's nothing wrong with naming your kids after you. Just my opinion. Ava Elizabeth is very nice. I almost suggested Lynn but think of it more as a "filler" name. But if it's a family name, I'd definitely consider it.
I would stay away from anything that ends in that -a sound (like Lianna). I think it sounds off. I almost suggested Ava Cecilia but saying it out loud didn't sound right.
Thanks! I like Ava Elizabeth. I agree with the -a sound ending. That's why I'm not really on board with Lianna. It's just all we've come up with.

Ava Louise?
Ava Charlotte?
What are the middle names for your other girls?
Allyson Brooke and Aubrey Michelle. Michelle was my aunt.. she passed away while I was pregnant with DD2 so we wanted to use her name as a middle name.
I like Ava Katherine.
I also like
Ava Kate
Ava Ann
Ava Elizabeth
Ava Caroline
Ava Alexandra
Ava Juliette
Ava Louise
Ava Marie I think is too close to Ave Maria...lol I do like Ava Catherine.
Ava Justine?
Ava Lorraine?
Ava Colleen?
Ava Christine
Ava Louise
Ava Simone
I like Ava Claire as well but not sure if it's too "southern" sounding for me... We were debating Ava but not sure it works with our common/short last name.
Ava Elizabeth
Ava Frances
Ava Josephine
Ava Louise
Ava Reese
Ava Ryann
Ava Sophia (double A but I think it flows nicer than Lianna)
This was my first choice, but the more I said it with my last name, the less I liked the double N sound since our last name starts with N. I'm considering Elizabeth.. I like it.
I, too, like Ava Sophia, but DH isn't on board. =/ Thanks ladies! These are awesome suggestions!
