Re: One year Birthday Party
My favorite one year birthday party I attended was held in the early afternoon in an Adams Morgan restaurant called Left Bank. Unfortunately it's no longer there but for all the parents and friends, finger foods like mini quiches, cheeses, etc were available. And most of the finger foods like deli meats and cheeses and crackers were perfect for the toddlers. Also, having a private room to keep kids contained and the mom placed the 2x2 foam interlocking mats on the floor to create a play area. Such a great idea. Since it was a restaurant parents that wanted to get a cocktail could open a tab, otherwise tea, lemonade, coffee were covered by parents.
Have fun and take lots of pictures. Also, consider hiring a photographer for an hour. Best $150 - $200 you can spend to capture this moment. My fav is binkiesandnoseprints.com
