hey Y'all I took a pg test the day before my period was due which came up negative, but now my period is a day late and i'm very regular. Could I be pg?

There's no such thing as "regular." Your period coming is based on when you ovulate. If you ovulate later than the oft spoken of, rarely achieved, day 14 of your cycle, your period will follow approximately 14 days after that. So unless you know when you ovulated, you can't know you're "late." Give it a week and test again, rinse and repeat until your period comes or you get a +HPT.

Take a pink dye dollar store test. They work well and that's the only way you will know.

You probably just O'd later than you thought. If you are truely late than a pregnancy test would be positive.

I took a dollar tree test the day before my period was due, on afternoon urine, and got a BFP. So chances are you either ovulated way later than you thought, making it too early for a BFP, or you aren't pregnant.

I don't have ute goggles. I do not know. If your test was negative, you are not pregnant right now. Everyone has a regular period until one month, they don't.

It is possible. I took a test 3 days before my period was due. It was negative. However, I was 2 days late before I took another test. It came up positive. Then I took 2 more and they were both positive.

You could be. Or you could not be. Take another test - people on the internet don't know if you are pregnant.

You have a baby, so you know the only way to know if your pg is by taking a test. Internet strangers can't tell you what's going on in your ute.

Yup! I tested a day before my missed period and it came back negative. I then tested the day after I was supposed to get my period, and it came back positive. HCG can literally double within a 48 hour timespan! Test again and good luck! :-)

Honest and serious question-- how are we supposed to realistically know? I'm not trying to be a smartass. I'm being 100% serious when I say its impossible for us to have a window into your uterus to see if you've got an occupant.

Want to know a great, fool-proof way to know though? Take an HPT. Preferably pink* dye with your first morning urine. If there are two lines within the time limit then you are KTFU. If not then you may have ovulated late and/or not at all. If you are still BF then that can mess up your cycles.

edit: PINK not blue dye.

I would wait a couple of days and retest. Honestly with this pregnancy I didn't get a bfp until 3 days after the day I thought I'd get my period
