Who has or is planning their summer vacation?

We are headed back to Florida this summer. We've gone every single year since my oldest was born, so it's his 9th time! Needless to say, we love it there.

We stay somewhere along 30-A which is all considered Santa Rosa Beach, but usually we stay in Seagrove Beach specifically.

We are going to mt. Rushmore and Yellowstone in April and then to tx in oct. we are skipping over summer. HahA

DH and I are going to Vegas kid free in May which I am pretty thrilled about!

Aside from that, it will probably be lots of little camping trips in our new RV. We are both so excited to start camping with the kiddos.

Just going to try for a random concert or something and have a weekend just the two of us. When I move back I'm moving into our new house which is on the lake so we don't plan on taking too much time away from our new beach!

We usually go to the DFW area in the summer and go to six flags/baseball games/etc. And we go spend several weekends in our little cabin on the new Mexico/Colorado border. We were actually talking about taking a weekend in co springs at the beginning of April, just DH & I. I hope it pans out!

We usually rent a cottage on a lake in Maine for a week. This year we are doing a staycation and maybe an overnight up to NH to go to Storyland.

DH and I are going to Boston for a weekend in May. Then all three of us are going to Ocean City, MD for a few days in Sept. We also skipped the summer months for better prices.

BIL and SIL bought a cottage up north so we are planning on going up there for a week. And we will probably just do some day trips to the beach, friends boat, etc.

No specific plans. DH teaches summer school so we have a short window in early June to do something. I've been looking at vacation rentals in NH/ME to find somewhere we could go with N for a week. I'm pretty picky (2BRs, parking, grill, etc) so I'm not sure how much luck we'll have. Every summer my mom's family has a reunion on the lake and last year we rented a rickety shack for 2 nights which was OK but we can't stay over this time because of DHs schedule so not sure what I'll do.

ETA: Just fund the perfect condo on VRBO.com and they have toys and a PNP -- can't wait to book for August.

I have a feeling our only vacation will be the six week maternity leave I'll be taking in July. Oh well. Maybe next year.

Haven't really thought about it...sadly, I've never been on a vacation (except my honeymoon) but DH and I would like to take one in the next year or two. My mom has also been saving for years to try to take my whole family on a vacation, but it's been really hard to find a good time for all of us to go.

Usually we go back to NE where DH is from every summer, but we won't this year since DD2 is due in July. We probably will be home all summer.

We usually go to NJ with DH's family for 5 days or so in July, I'm not sure what'll happen to that this year (either we spent waaaay more money and get our own place instead of staying with family, or we cut it short and stay with family in majorly cramped quarters).

We have a wedding in the fall, and it'll just be DH and I! As scared as I am to leave J (in perfectly capable hands, of course), it's going to be amazing to have a vacation, just the two of us.

We go "up north" every summer for a week with DH's entire mom's side of the family. We rent out a resort (and I use the term resort loosely, it hasn't been updated since probably the 70's, lol) and spend the whole week noshing on great food, playing games, hanging at the beach, and just enjoying time together.

Unfortunately, it always starts the last weekend of July and I'll have a 4 week old baby and still be recovering from my c/s at that time. I have no idea if we're going to go or not. It's a 5 hour drive. I think DH is going to take Augie for a few days no matter what but we'll see about me and the baby.

It's my most favorite vacation and about 15 minutes post BFP I was crushed to realize the timing of this baby would mess up going this year! I know we have lots and lots of years ahead of us but I hate missing even one year!

Also check out Kranin realty. They do a lot of vacation rentals in Maine. That's who I use.

I'm due at the end of May and I know we'll have people come over so I don't think we'll go anywhere. We'll see after the baby comes since I get 12 weeks maternity leave we could probably go somewhere close like Ocean City or something.

Our summer vacation has been planned for me really. My mom is organizing a big "Cha-Cha" (my family's word for huge party) in Colorado this summer. It is sort of a combined family reunion plus milestone birthday party for a couple of my aunts who have big birthday's this year.

She booked all the accomodations, activities, etc. Of course we'll get to have some free time to do whatever we want to do also.

I'm glad she planned it all because with toddler and the new baby I wouldn't get around to it. I'm so excited to show off our family foresome to my relatives in Colorado. It is going to be so much fun.
