Update after seeing doc

So....baby is there, measuring right on track (6 weeks 6 days), heartbeat looked good. Thank GOD.
However, right next to the baby was an empty sac. Doc said it could be one of two things - first, could have been a twin that never developed, or second, could be a blood clot. Either way, it is likely the cause for the bleeding. When he did a pelvic exam, he didn't see any blood left which is good.
So I'm supposed to just take it easy, nothing strenuous for a few weeks and I go back in two weeks for another u/s to make sure the sac is shrinking and/or gone. He didn't seem too concerned, said there is no reason why this should lead to miscarriage (which of course he prefaced by saying it's still early and that a m/c could still happen, but he doesn't think this makes it any more likely to happen than if I didn't have the clot).
Thank you for the t&ps. I'll let you know what happens when I go back in two weeks. Praying that that sac disappears completely and that I start to have a boring uneventful pregnancy!!
