Do you use one of these? I used the boppy with my singleton babies, but I'm wondering if the My Breast Friend Twin pillow would be more accomodating with the twins? Any advice?
I could never get that darn BF Pillow to work. I actually hated it. I ended up using just pillows or boppies...others in my twins group SWEAR by it...so it could just be a personal choice

I use my Boppy if I'm nursing them individually and the MyBrestFriend for tandem nursing (which is most of it). Some women have no problem tandem nursing with the Boppies but it just wasn't cutting it for me; the other pillow, though enormous (it feels like I'm putting on a life preserver lol), makes it so much easier to position the babies.

This exactly! I don't EBF, but when I do nurse I prefer the MBF for tandem and the Boppy for individual. One of my boys has torticollis and tries to get himself in crazy positions to nurse. The MBF allows him to squirm all over without rolling off the bed! Like PP said, it is huge and cumbersome. Also, I have to prop pillows underneath it to get it at the right height. I do love the Boppy for convenience and speed, but the roominess of the MBF can't be beat.

Neither for nursing. I was given the E-Z 2 Nurse twin pillow and was successful at tandem feeding with it. I never used a nursing pillow when I nursed them one at time. However I do recommend still getting 2 boppy pillows because they are great for bottle feedings, tummy time, and as a cushion for support when they are learning to sit up.

I second this!! much easier to tandem nurse with the MBF. i do use the boppy to nurse individual babies though but the MBF was worth the money

Thanks ladies! I already have two Boppies, so I wasn't sure if I should invest in something else or not. I'd hate to waste money if what I already had would work. It's hard to tell since they aren't here yet and I don't know how often I'll be tandem nursing, etc.
I used the E-Z 2 Nurse twin pillow also and found it incredibly useful. (The My Breast Friend Twin didn't exist at the time.) I bought mine used from another twin mom so that's another route you can look into.

I LOVE the MBF twin pillow. I do not think I would be able to tandem feed without it. It is also big enough to balance a book or small plate of food at the top while nursing.

IT'S TWIN BOYS!! Tommy and Charlie arrived on 9/10/12 after less than 6 hours of labor at 32 weeks
I love MBF and use it all the time. I waited to see how BFing went first before I bought it though because they were preemies and I wasn't sure whether they would take to BFing or not.
