It has gone by entirely too fast. Lj has 2 teeth coming in and a slight cold so we're all lacking sleep. We've just chilled this afternoon awaiting the rain headed our way.

Good! Yesterday I took DS to my grandma's for lunch. Today DS slept in until 2, and I had time to make a playroom for him! I turned our formal dining room into a playroom. When DS finally woke up, he was cranky. He didn't eat today and went to bed half an hour early. He was awake for a total of 5.5 hours today. We are hoping it is just because he is teething or getting sick. Anyways, I also cleaned out DS's closet and my desk/computer area. It was a productive day!

That sounds super cute! Does he love it?! We need to see! PIP!
He slept until 2 in the afternoon? From his morning nap? Sounds magical.

It went well. We were stuck inside all day Saturday because of the blizzard.
Bedtime on Saturday night was AMAZING! Yes, I'm yelling. After the weeks we've had with bad bedtime DS CIO for 10 minutes before falling asleep. Maybe the regression or whatever it was is over. We'll have to see how tonight goes.
Today we went to friends for breakfast then we all came back here to hang out and ordered Chinese takeout. Bed time is right around the corner, yippy!
Yay for a smooth bedtime!

I will try to PIP in a bit.
And, no. He slept from 8pm last night to 2pm today (18 hours). He sleeps a lot. Like, a whole lot.

Yesterday was nice. It was Dom Day. We got a sitter for DD and took Dom to the mall, out to eat, ice cream and then took him to see Identity Thief. It was awesome and he really needed a day just for him. Although, I wasn't expecting the movie to be as rated R, oops! Today was grocery shopping and cleaning.

This is awesome! Please tell me tonight went as smoothly or even better than last night!
Yesterday was swim classes, followed by lunch out. Then we drove to DH's aunt's for Chinese New Year - she lives 20 minutes from my parents, so we stopped by for a quick visit first. DD2 hasn't been sleeping well since her hospital stay, so we decided we'd come home instead of spending the night at my parents. We didn't leave DH's aunt's until 10PM, meaning we got home a little past midnight. DD2 had a massive diaper blowout about 30 minutes before we got home. Thankfully, I had thought to cover her carseat with a towel.
The girls slept in until 8 this morning (yay!), then we just chilled at home. Took DD1 grocery shopping, had "picnic" for lunch (sandwiches). DH took a nap after lunch, then he let me nap for almost 2 hours. It was heavenly.
Two of my girlfriends came over for dinner and just left a few minutes ago. It was nice to have girl time. That's something I've definitely been missing these past few months.
My friends were "lucky" enough that they got to witness DD2's most massive diaper blowout yet, just as we were having dinner. Not sure how that happened, but she had poop running all up the fron of her onesie, right up to her armpits. Then she also had poop running down her legs. It was everywhere. But aside from the poop incident, the girls were charming as could be, which of course makes me super proud
This is what I want to know! Also, how are you feeling, Rachey?
Our weekend was okay - highs and lows.
We went shopping yesterday - DS kept trying to escape, so the pretty shop girl was helping me keep him corralled. He escaped from his stroller. Sigh. He had fun flirting with the shop girl - he didn't want to leave and kept blowing her kisses.
And then he refused to nap which kind of made for a rough evening on Saturday, and a rough day today. I made myself work on unpacking more stuff today - he keeps getting into things, which frustrates me, but I know it's my fault that the stuff isn't put away, so I can't get mad at him. I just need to figure out where to put the random stuff, and then we can have some peace and order around here.
Mama Ha, I'm familiar with these 18 month old diaper blow outs!! Since we got the stomach flu this time, J's been blowing them out right and left.
Ladybug, sorry he's been getting into stuff while you unpack. I'm afraid I'm going to be a freak while we go through the same thing. How difficult. I hope you get it all unpacked soon and you wont have to worry about it anymore.
My weekend was an adventure. Here's a little book for you to read.
We had showings Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you read a few posts down, L and J had the stomach flu again, and it was nastier than ever.
So, Saturday lady was a third showing and Sunday lady was a second showing, other Friday people want to come back, but not for 2 more weeks when a partner is in town. Sunday lady's hubs is also out of town LOVES our house but can't buy w/o her partner looking.
Saturday lady puts in an offer but it is SO far off base, we don't even counter. Sunday lady knows there's another offer and might be putting one on too, sight unseen for her H, which we actually think could end up being a problem.
Saturday lady says she would rather us counter WAY high so she has an idea where we stand. We countered near our asking price. She counters back right away, and her soninlaw, her realtor, forgoes his commission to get the price where we want it.
We accept! Wow, that was way too easy. We're under contract... Again.
So, say a little prayer that inspections go aok. We're very nervous since the last TWO times this fell through.
And, here's some ice cream for reading all of this!

Oh, and I forgot to add I threw up all night Saturday. Evan was at work Sunday. I had to clean for the showing while feeling like garbage and taking care of kids and pets.
I was so upset because my mom said she would come over with my grandma and bring dinner for the boys and help me get them to bed. She didn't even call me until 6:30. The boys were pooping everywhere, I hadn't eaten in two days, and she never showed up or called.

Not too bad. Dinner with my ILs on Saturday night, dinner with my parents last night. The food at both dinners was soooooo good that anything I make tonight is going to suck by comparison lol.
Besides dinnertime, DH was working alllllll weekend. Boring for DD and I
But I feel bad, he worked all day Saturday until we left for his parents' house at 5. Then again yesterday until he took a dinner break to go to my parents' house. Then back to work after we got home at 8:30. I woke up at 2:34am and he was still working! Then he had to get up at 7:30 for a loooong day at school and then work again when he gets home. Poor guy, he's probably going to be a grump later.

She said she had company and couldn't leave. But my sister says everyone left way before she called me. My mom has the stomach flu now, so maybe it'll put things into perspective. Clearly, she didn't understand how sick I was.

Tuna: that's a crazy long time to sleep!
All the sickies: sorry y'all are sick! ::showers penicillin dust over the Aug 11 moms and kiddos:: Get better quick!!
My weekend: DH ran his first 5K Saturday morning. His time was 33:09. I am so proud of him! He lost a lot of weight in a biggest loser contest last year like 60 lbs and had gained a little of it back, but he's still doing really well! He's lowered his blood pressure and is much healthier now. Wish I wasn't such a lazy butt and could do the same!

Good luck with Mr Alisap handling bedtime. I'm sure it won't be easy, but I think that will definitely help break the habit.
