E is STILL coughing!  This has been going on since Thanksgiving.  It will start to get a little better, then it gets bad again.  She can't nap well because the coughing keeps waking her up.  I asked her pedi about it at her 6 month appt. and he just said a cough from bronchitis takes a long time to heal.  I just feel so badly for her.  We're using a humidifier, she sleeps on an incline, we suck her boogs when she's congested.  Any other tips?  I know M suggested using apple juice and water - how did you give it?  We have tried and tried and can't get E to figure out a sippy cup.  She loves to play with it, but can't get anything out of it.  TIA!

    im sorry you guys are still dealing with this!! what kind of sippy are you using? we only ever had success with the NUBY brand since the nipple was silicone even if he just chewed on it some would drip out then he would figure out to suck on it. hope you find something that works for you guys

    Could you just give it to E in a bottle?  I know if there was something medicinal that I wanted LO's to take, the bottle always worked.  Neither one cares too much for a sippy cup & just went straight to straws.  GL TJ sorry E is still dealing with this.  How was your night away with DH?

    It was so nice! And for V day, he got me a beautiful necklace with E's birthstone! I was doing just fine being away until breakfast. There was a little girl at the table next to us giving mommy and daddy kisses, and I started crying. We had a great night though. Thanks for asking!

    Poor thing :( Grayson keeps getting little colds over and over from daycare so it seems like he has had an endless cough too. It sucks to hear them uncomfortable. I gave the diluted apple juice in a syringe. I hope it helps.
