cramping nd labor

I'm almost 35 weeks and a ftm. I have been getting intense menstrual like cramps when I lay down. Does this sound normal....is it a sign of labor soon?

    It is perfectly normal. I started having intense menstral-like cramps about two weeks ago. I finally called my OB last Weds. She said it was perfectly normal. The only time it would be an issue is if you notice a distinct pattern when they come and go. ie. every 15 minutes, every 10 etc..

    I have had them on n off for the past 3 weeks the OB said its normal. If they get worst in pain or closer together than it might be labor, that's what I was told. This morning I was having a lot of them as I was in bed but they didn't get any stronger so I didn't worry. I have my Appt tomorrow so ill ask about it but I'm not worried.
