My twin boys were STTN starting at 4 months (6p-5a). They are now 8 mo and over the last month, they have been waking 1-2 times per night-at first it was likely because they were sick with RSV and coughing, but now I am not sure what's going on. I keep waiting for a growth spurt or tooth to pop up, but am wondering if I need to do some sleep training again? Any similar situations?
I also wanted to ask about feeding; when should I start with sippy cups, dairy (yogurt, cheeses), chunky textures and letting them try to fed themselves. How about more allergenic stuff like berries? Do I need to keep doing the 4 day intro to all foods?
Sorry for the multiple questions-I find that when I go for their well child exams, not many of my questions are answered
Re: Eating and sleeping advice for 8 month olds?!
this. lol. mine feed themselves pretty much everything except liquidy stuff. i've given shredded cheese, yogurts, cottage cheese. they pretty much eat everything except those "no no" foods for under a year.
i'm working on the sippy cup thing now. they're okay with it, not great.

Mine are younger than yours , so we still wait three days when introducing a new fruit or vegie. But will probably stop that soon and only wait while introducing something that is a high allergen.
From what I remember with my older child, we did berries closer to one, because of it being an allergen.Yogurt was around 8-9 months old.We did let her start eating puffs and stuff around 8 months, just to let her practice her pincher.
We plan on sleep training the babies, they do not STTN as of yet and we will hopefully do so in the next week or so.
Our babies are 6.5 months old.
Have you introduced any meats? Around that age we did chicken & rice, and chicken/sweet potato/apple. They loved both, and protein at dinner seemed to help them sleep better. We started yogurt around 8 months, they had it every day for lunch. I also gave them finger foods at every meal so they could get some practice in.
