What are the most useful things you carry along with you in your diaper bag (we're not talking an extra diaper or wipes)? Share specific products you keep on hand when out and about with your little one that a new mom wouldn't know to put on her list!
Thanks -
Bump Liz
Re: What?s the most (surprisingly!) useful thing in your diaper bag?
extra set of clothes or two. As a first time Mom, I had no idea how much blow outs really do happen! I didn't have an extra set of clothes in our diaper bag early on and got caught in a jam. Never made that mistake twice!
Good post!
face and hand wipes for the baby and hand sanitizer for me.
also sunscreen- we used it at the park today!
Extra shirt for ME! That way if I get drenched in baby puke, I don't have to walk around like that the rest of the day.
Extra pacifiers in case I forget or lose one. I've had to buy new ones while out & about before to appease LO.

I agree with the plastic bags for dirty diapers or clothes.
Also, I found that you can take a brief trip somewhere without a lot of things, including a diaper bag, but never without a burp rag.

For us, it's an AA swaddle blanket. Great as a coverup while nursing, to shield baby from the sun, wipe drool off his face, etc.
