Baby oatmeal

I have been giving LO Plum Organics oatmeal. I ran out and can't find it anywhere. When I look online everywhere says it is out of stock. My guess is they stopped making it. Do you have any recommendations for another good organic oatmeal? I tried Earth's Best but thought it tasted like cardboard. Also am I supposed to still use baby oatmeal or is he old enough for regular oatmeal?

If your LO is willing to eat thicker food, you can try regular oatmeal, but it may not have the iron that is added to baby cereal. I have never seen the Plum Organics cereal around here, but did find that DD likes the Earth's Best Multigrain cereal much better than their oatmeal.

I've been giving regular oatmeal from the start since Lucas doesn't like the fine texture. Plus it's easier to feed him what I'm feeding everyone else.

We use the Earth's Best banana oatmeal and apple sweet potato mixed grain cereal and DD loves them. You can also find ready made (jars) of earth's best oatmeal's.
