Anyone else waiting for the glow?

Between feeling bloated, tired, having cold weather dry skin and what seems like a new zit every week... I just don't feel very "glowy". I'm disappointed that I don't see a more radiant and fabulous version of my normal self when I look in the mirror.

Is the maternity glow just a myth or am I expecting too much or has it just not happened yet?

I would also love to know this! I'm 15 weeks and still feel like a huge, sleepy, ugly person. Not the happy, glowy, pregnant lady I envisioned!

I am with you on the waiting for my glow. When I was PG with the trips, I actually looked good and had a glow, now I just look icky with new zits popping up all the time. And don't forget my oily nose but dry as sand forehead and cheeks. I am very sessy ....

The only time I feel the glow is when I'm in my "butt-look-good" jeans (complete with belly band, now), a fresh face of make-up, and my favorite heels.

All other times (like today...) I'm a pregnant slob. HA!

It is a myth in the fashion everyone is led to believe. Pregnancy "glow" is basically just a more flushed complexion because of increased blood flow.

The glowing skin is not all it's cracked up to be by glowing the really mean so oily it shines! : I feel you on the tired thing I can't barely do my hair without getting exhausted...hope things get better for you!!

I was the same way! I was miserable and no amount of make up could hide it. Hopefully you will be like me and turn a corner. The last two weeks my face has finally cleared up. I still have an occasional zit but its not near as bad. I was waking up with two and three new ones every morning. Starting to feel like a human again.
