DH and I have decided on the name Mia (pronounced Me-ah) for DD but I dont want her to have the life long confusion of people pronouncing it MY-AH...how would you spell it to make her life easier??
Ideas we have so far
Meah
Mhea
Mea...

I would just spell it Mia. The other spellings just look weird.
The other pronunciation is more commonly spelled Maya or maybe Mya.
Mia! MIIAAAA! For the love of God please spell it Mia.
I know a couple of Mias and their names have always been pronounced correctly!
PS...WTH is Mhea?
Using the other spellings would just confuse people and she will have to put up with that forever. Not fair to her.
My thoughts exactly.
Kind of a dumb story, but my point is if my husband and his geeky friends can figure it out, then I wouldn't worry too much about the rest of the world. Go with Mia.
Exactly this.

She spells it Nia. In her case it's short for Antonia.
OP, like everyone else has said, I'd go with Mia.
When I see the name Mia, I say Me-ah.
I think that's how that spelling is typically pronounced.
I get what you're trying to do, it just looks silly the way you're doing it. I don't suggest carrying on this idea, but if you insist, I'd say use double e's to get what you're trying for, because it's a tiny bit less absurd...
