  • I'm only five months out but get this too.  The other day it was SO ITCHY, but I am a teacher and was with kids so I couldn't do anything about it.

  • My mom still gets twinges now and again, and she had me over 30 years ago!  It's normal to just be aware of that scar for life, I think!  I tend to be a little extra sore around my period, even years after my first section.  But nothing painful -- just uncomfortable sometimes.

  • I agree, I think it gets more noticeably sore during ovulation for me.. more so on the left side than the right. Especially with a now-toddler crawling all over me and standing on my scar.. that doesn't help. :)

  • I've had 2 csections with the last being a year ago and occasionally my scar will twinge with pain. Not unbearable, but a noticeable flash. Usually it's when my waistband rubs and I move, when I press against a countertop, or something, and recently when I did an an workout. It's not enough to worry me. I just figure the muscles are still recovering around that area.
