I want to freeze homemade finger foods without them clumping together.I know you can freeze purees in ice cube trays but how do you freeze finger foods like diced apples. Do you put those in ice cube trays too? Would they clump together?
I would just freeze them on a baking sheet, then transfer to a freezer baggie. Apples will turn brown though, so don't freeze them. Are you planning on cooking them beforehand?

Fruits and some veggies can be hard to defrost because of the high water content. You can freeze them on a cookie sheet and then transfer to a ziploc but when you go to defrost they're pretty much going to disintegrate.
