  I asked the pedi about this. He said its normal and at this age there is no need to wipe out her mouth or gums. For my DD now 6 weeks it lightens up awhile after she's eaten.

  As long as it's coming off you're probably fine. DD has thrush [we're finally dealing with it now] and has had thrush since she was a few days old but no one thought it was thrush because it was only on the back of her tongue and no where else. Now that she's on the medicine it's finally starting to clear but it's in my nipples too and I'm having an incredibly hard time clearing that up even with medicine.

  I would say if it's coming off and you don't have any symptoms in your nipples it's fine to leave. Maybe if your LO does long stretches of sleep at night if you wanted you could sort of wash it out of the mouth so the milk sugars aren't sitting too long.
