Hi ladies- I am 5'0 tall-on a good day, lol-and I am concerned about crib heights. I was just wondering what cribs or modifications (small step stool?) other short mamas have done? Or if you have found it is not an issue for you? TIA
I'm about your height, maybe an inch taller, and I didn't have any problems. By the time we needed to lower the mattress, it was because she was pulling herself up, which made it that much easier to pick her up anyway. No problems changing the sheets either.

I'm barely 5'2" and DS has a very expensive Capretti crib that I cannot put him in if he's asleep already. For DD we got a babyletto crib and its so much easier for me. DH has to change the sheets and everything for DS I regret spending the money on that crib but I bought it without seeing it first.
Re: short mom and cribs
I'm 5'2 and I used a small step stool for awhile, but then I just got the hang of it and didn't really need it.
Just look for a crib that has a lower front then back or look for a crib that is slightly shorter all around.
Youll make it work.
