High chairs

Are you all still using a high chair?  If so, which one?  Do you plan on still using it for awhile?

It's getting to be time for DS to start eating solids and using a high chair, so we need to make a decision about buying a second one.  We have a Chicco Polly High Chair right now and I don't really have any complaints about it, but I wanted to research to see if there's a better option or whether we should get DD some kind of booster seat instead.

Let me know if you have any recommendations!

    We've been using a booster you're high chair since the summer. We'll dig out the regular high chair when LO2 needs it.

    DS1 -6/25/11

    DS2 -3/23/13

    Missed MC D&C 8/26/14

    DD - 8/26/15

    LO#4 due 5/30/17

    We've been using a booster since approx 13 months.  We have 2- one you can buckle and then a soft one that just sits on the chair.  You can get them with trays as well if you want one similar to a high chair.

    DD still uses her HC, but she could do fine in a booster, so long as it had straps. I'd probably go that route with your LO so that you don't have to spend as much and then have something you can't really use 2 of later on. 

    Ditto.

    About half the time DD would rather sit in her booster than her high chair so she sits in it instead.

    I just got one from Target that was about 13 dollars or something.

    Still using the FP Space Saver as a high chair. I'm thinking about switching it to the booster feature, but she's still content in it, so I'm in no rush.

    DD uses a Bright Start booster now. We had a space saver but she wanted to be at the table with us and the arms wouldn't allow us to get it under the table. We also had a FP booster that we used for a little while but she started throwing a fit when we put her in it. I found the BS one on clearance for 3 and decided to try it out. So far it's a winner.

    Thanks everyone!  I think I'll go with a booster seat then.  Maybe the Fisher Price Space Saver one, since DD dumps her plate a lot and I'd like to still use a tray for awhile!

    We have the space saver booster HC by Fisher Price. I actually regretted getting that one because space saving isn't an issue for us. I wish I'd gotten a stand alone one with a wide tray because then she has more room for her food/mess. The FP one just seems too small for her now.
