  • She might be getting her first tooth. I have heard of babies starting to teeth at 6 weeks.

  • My guess would be growth spurt b/c of the intense cluster feeding. My DD had a doozy of a growth spurt b/w 5 & 6 weeks and she cluster fed pretty frantically.
  • DS has been really crazy with his feedings and sleep too the past three days. I'm assuming it's a growth spurt. I hope it ends soon...I go back to work Monday.

    Henry Cavill...You're welcome!

  • Mine is going through the same thing!! Could be a "Wonder Week". Babies not only go through physical growth spurts but also neurological growth spurts and one of these happens around 7-8 weeks old. It can be frustrating at times but it's exciting to know that they are developing and learning! It's also comforting to know these don't last very long so there's an end in sight!!

  • Their salivary glands kick in now and they drool a lot.  also they discover their hands and chew on them all the time.  the cluster feeding may be a growth spurt.
